I’m so thankful…

It’s been a few days since I posted anything, so I wanted to take a few minutes and thank all the wonderful people in my life that have been so supportive and generous. All the folks at work – from my awesome co-workers and boss, to the girls at BUNCO! You guys are the best! I’m so pleased to hear that more and more people are reading the blog and looking forward to following along on our trip. And it’s completely okay to be a lurker (someone who only reads the blog and does not post comments). I lurk on a lot of pages myself.

I also want to give a shout out to my wonderful sister! Heather, thank you for thinking of all the coolest travel stuff and bring it over today. You are the best and I love you so much!

Of course today was the Superbowl. I honestly did not have that much interest in the actual game because my team – THE BUFFALO BILLS! (Hey Amy!) – were not playing. I did however care what the score was for football pool purposes (Yeah! I won $80) and to have bragging rights in my house for the most wins. I picked the Steelers and said the final score would total 50 points…and I hit it right on the button baby!!! The cutest thing was when Codi said, “Well, we all know what Mommy is going to buy with the money she won, more baby clothes.” That kid sure knows his mom! I also wanted to make sure that Grandma and Papa (the die hard Steelers fans) would be happy campers when they come to watch the kids. So, even though the Steelers are not my favorite team, I’m still glad they won. GO BILLS!
